This website is a private family site with a professional profile. There are no cookies, no tracking, no analytics tools, no advertising and no embedded third-party content. Fonts and images are loaded exclusively from our own web space. Personal data is processed only to the technically necessary extent described below.

3. Hosting and server log files

The website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS.

When you access the website, the server automatically stores information transmitted by your browser (server log files):

• IP address of the requesting device
• date and time of access
• page or file accessed and amount of data transferred
• HTTP status code
• browser type, operating system and, where applicable, the previously visited page (referrer)

This data is required to deliver the website, ensure its stable operation and fend off attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in the secure and error-free operation of the website. The log files are automatically deleted or anonymized by the host after a short period and are not combined with other data.

4. Encryption

The website is delivered over an encrypted connection (TLS, recognizable by “https://”). This prevents third parties from reading the data transmitted.

5. Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, your details (e.g. name, email address, phone number and the content of your inquiry) are processed to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if the inquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Password-protected area

Part of the website is accessible only to family and friends and is protected by a username and password. The login credentials are transmitted to the server in encrypted form and used there solely to verify access authorization. No cookies are set in the process. Access is recorded in the server log files like any other page request (see section 3).

7. Cookies and tracking

This website does not set any cookies and does not use any analytics, tracking or social media services. No user profiles are created.

8. Your rights

You have the right at any time vis-à-vis the controller to

• access the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
• rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
• erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
• object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).

Right to lodge a complaint

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Independent Centre for Privacy Protection Schleswig-Holstein (ULD), www.datenschutzzentrum.de.

This privacy policy will be updated if the website or the legal requirements change. The version published here at any given time applies.
